The Eastern GTA in general is growing in population at an astronomical rate. In addition, the 407 (which goes through Markham) is getting extended Easterly as far as the 115. They are expecting a lot more development in the area along the 407 once it is finished. Having a link like that would make it easy for people as far east as Peterborough or further travel to Markham to watch the game.
