There was a documentary out a while back about the proliferation of Coywolves (cross between coyotes and wolves) that have infiltrated some major urban centers in North America. Last I heard they were mostly in the east (Chicago, Toronto, etc.) but they were making their way west.
They are bigger than normal coyotes and often live and hunt in urban areas at night. As far as I know, there haven't been any human attacks. They mostly prey on rats and other urban animals (cats, dogs, raccoons, etc.)
