Bump an older thread to post something new and relevant, first 5 posts:
"what a horrible bump, couldn't you just make a new thread for this?"
Make a new thread for something that kinda relates to an older thread, first 5 posts:
"pointless thread, we already have another thread relating to this. why not just post it in there?"
Make a few different threads over time about different aspects of the same general topic:
"i can't keep up with all these threads. can't we just have a megathread for this stuff?"
Make a mega thread:
"megathreads are stupid, there's no way I'm keeping up with this every day. just make a new thread whenever something happens"
