Its a pretty vicious and condemning cycle.
They've got a lot of people in a lot of high places with virtually limitless resources.
When the IRS cracked down on them years ago the 'Church' of Scientology threatened to sue and litigate the Government into oblivion. They literally bullied the US Government into approving their tax-free religious status.
