In my opinion, there wasn't enough time to make a good pass, and wasn't enough time to dump it in and keep fighting (with 10 seconds left). They had to go for a super high risk play, and it didn't work out.
Anyways yeah, he was dynamite in the playoffs. I'd take him back in an instant.
