Obviously Brouwer has been disappointing, but I still think he has many plays a game that go underappreciated.
Last night he set Versteeg up for a scoring chance with a sneaky pass, though the SNET broadcast missed it entirely... Here's the Dallas feed instead:

Also 4 of his 7 hits were highlight worthy.
Vs the Penguins Brouwer had some big defensive plays, including stripping Malkin late as he was entering the zone for a rush. Also a big block on the PK in OT.
