Busted out my rocky mtn altitude for the first time this year and went for a spin around the hood with my daughter.

Was stunned at how slow my altitude handled now that I am used to my commuter rig. It was my first ride with my mavic alpine xl's and race face atlas pedals. The shoes are likely a smidge small, and you can feel the dead spot in the shoe where the clip goes, but otherwise, shoe pedal combo felt comfortable.

Also put new ice tech rotors and dropped in new finned pads and the brakes were dragging a bit. I think I need to pull the pads and open up the Pistons with a screwdriver. Also may need to bleed the brakes.

Planning on hitting the paskapoo slopes Saturday afternoon for a taste of dirt
