In hindsight, before the tribal there should have been a suggestion that since Jason won the immunity challenge he should hold onto both idols. Then he would be given the responsibility to protect his alliance member Scott or Tai. Then there would be no chance the idol would have left the game. If Tai would have refused the suggestion, that would have been a signal that he had not bought into the planned voting strategy.
