I don't think these are "handshake agreements" and "pre-draft shenanigans".
These are legitimate trades made by Vegas because they think it's in their best interest to make such trades. They can't back out of these deals.
I'm not sure why it's any different than the usual deadline deals to strengthen clubs for the stretch run.
