Don't know if anyone else is watching this show, but as a Star Wars nut, I'm actually enjoying it, and it seems to be following a quicker path to darkness then the Clone Wars did and that show started off very light and almost kid centric.
Some Spoilers
Spoiler!
1) Grand Moff Tarkin is now involved in taking down the rebel cell on Lothal. His first act was to have the Inquisitor execute two incompetent officers. Whoever is voicing Tarkin is awesome at it.
2) The Inquisitor continues to not deliver in terms of dealing with the rebellion, hence Tarkin arriving on the world. Agent Kallus was also humbled by Tarkin.
3) Ezra continues to grow as a Jedi, but he has skirted close to the whole lust for revenge things a couple of times and his anger has gotten the better of him.
4) Kanan has been captured. The Rebels seized a communications tower and broadcast a system wide statement of Rebellion, the Imperials captured Kanan and destroyed the tower cutting the planet off from the Galaxy.
5) Darth Vader is coming, he's going to appear in the last episode of the first season in a couple of weeks. Its funny when Dave Filoni talks about Vader, he basically says at this point in the story there's really no emotional conflict in Vader, and that he's at the height of his rage and power. Think a younger Vader with his ANH attitude where blowing up planets and killing everyone is acceptable.
6) There continues to be a lot of speculation about who Fulcrum is, the shadowy figure coordinating the Rebellion, with rumors that Askley Eckstein has signed on for season two its easy to think that Fulcrum is Ashoka which creates all kinds of cool ideas in terms of Vader.
7) With Vader at the height of his power, and with Tarkin on board, and with Tim Curry being rumored to be reprising his role as Palpatine next season, it seems like the Empire is taking a keen interest in the goings on with Lothal.
8) Speculation - With Vader coming to Lothal, I'm thinking that he is most displeased with the efforts of the Inquisitor, could a new Inquisitor be in order.
In the final arc of season 5 of Clone Wars, Ashoka's friend and Padawan Barris Offee fell to the darkside and betrayed the Republic. A emotional battle of wills between Kanan and Ashoka on one side and Vader/Skywalker and Offee on the other.
