That's how I understood it. Sportsnet Now is an extension of your cable package. Or, you can just purchase Sportsnet Now on it's own and watch via your computer. The website says it's 'coming soon' to gaming console devices which will add a bit of convenience.

Truth be told, I only watch sports, The Walking Dead and The Office on TV. The Office is over, and the Walking Dead can be had in other creative ways (like netflix, what were you thinking?).

$25 a month for all the Snet channels sounds pretty good to me, and I don't need to get cable.
