I haven't played it, but I backed it with some friends. Supposed to arrive in August. I think they hit just shy of 4 mill on the last round of kick starter, that's pretty impressive for a 100 dollar game.
Apparently it plays just as well if not better solo as it does with a group, and the encounters scale very easily based on the number of players. So if for instance one week Jim can't make it, that's ok you just use the color coded monster standees to determine its difficulty with X number of players instead.
Something like 96 scenarios wrapped up into the campaign with expected over 100 hours of play time if you want to do it all, pretty incredible.
I also don't mind the standee versus miniatures, as someone who paints minis it is VERY time consuming and frankly I'm already back logged enough. Standees also drop the price.
