Been pondering this vote for a few days now . Hindmarch a useful name from the early years, Grimson an interesting goon, Drury- hmm. I'll leave that one alone
must be down to the 2 Matts?
I have a feeling Stajan is going to take this- and if so- good on him. Maligned early on (and often?) yet a tremendous person and was a part of some of the most most memorable moments of a fairly patchy decade. Well up the list in games played for the team, but without the productivity to match. He did what was asked and was a swiss army knife that moved up and down the lineup
I'm going to vote for Lombardi though- some unrealized promise but I put some of that blame at the feet of Hatcher- he came out the gates flying as a rookie, was a big part of the early phase of the 04 run...and like a few other names I think you can realistically assert that 'with a healthy Lombardi in round 4, the Flames win'- they just ran out of bodies
never could put it all together, but great wheels and always a threat on the PK
