So the week has been an interesting one for Ubisoft. Some more responses from them after Pontbriand was caught being surprisingly honest.

60 is really good for a shooter, action adventure not so much. It actually feels better for people when it’s at that 30fps.


So they'll forcefully cap the PC version to 30 fps I assume?

Let’s be clear up front: Ubisoft does not constrain its games. We would not limit a game’s resolution. And we would never do anything to intentionally diminish anything we’ve produced or developed.
