Marcum will not make his scheduled start Tuesday due to tightness in his elbow, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.

Spin: The Brewers did not offer further details outside of an announcement, but expect an update on Marcum's status shortly. The Brewers have yet to announce who will take Marcum's turn in the rotation, but Claudio Vargas is likely the top candidate if the Brewers call up a starter from the minors.
