If given the option between "5 and a game" vs. a 1-game suspension to be served tomorrow, I'd almost prefer the suspension. The game last night could easily have turned the other way on a 5-minute PK. It's not only being shorthanded for 5 minutes...it's having your lines screwed up and your team made afraid to play physically.
If they're starting tomorrow without Chucky, they'll have his hole filled in the lineup with another energetic crash-and-banger (Ferland?, Lazar, Hamilton) and they'll be a team playing to say "screw you...we can win in spite of your discipline!"
I think he'll get a game:
-Media and fans in an uproar = 3 games
-No injury = -1 game
-First-time offender = -1 game
