But really they should face some actual punishment when a video like this surfaces. That's the only way to get it out of the game. It wouldn't hurt to have refs make a call without a player feeling the need to drop when someone brushes them, but at least start with the most egregious and work from there.

that's the key though, if players have to fall down to get a foul they will fall down. then they will further fall down to con refs.
cause it's a sport about conning 1 ref for a big reward. soccer thrives on this.. the little guy getting one over on the big guy or the big guys getting all the calls over the poor little guys. Conspiracy! Controversy! Tabloids! drives the sport worldwide
