We have been doing the same things in relation to race relations for years and it hasn't worked. Incidents like this reinforce everything that is wrong. The powers that be on both sides have dug in and are perfectly happy keeping things the way they are. Maybe when the Hispanics or Asians are the majority things will change or maybe they will just be the new oppressors.
What part of it? The part where hundreds of thousands of people call for a proper and thorough investigation into the death of an unarmed 17 year old boy with no history of trouble. Yeah, that's terrible. We should really just turn a blind eye and pretend this didn't happen.

While we're at it, let's just pretend that race in America isn't an issue.
