Hey guys,
Just sitting in a hotel after getting evac'd from site about 30km from Mosul. It's getting a bit hectic here at the moment but I thought I would start this thread as a way to pass the time while we wait to see how this latest development will affect us here in Kurdistan.

This link gives a decent update on what's going on at the moment.
There doesn't seem to be much fear in Erbil (60 kms from Mosul and 35 kms from the latest militant attack). But we sit and wait to hear how far ISIS is willing to push the Iraqi and Kurdish militarized.
Some pretty terrible stories coming out of the affected areas, 20 people killed in an Ariel attack of what I can only assume was a military response from Iraq.
120 people died about 2 days ago when the Syrians first broke the border and hit Mosul's outskirts.
