I just have a regular Telus box and the menus are reasonably responsive (similar to the Shaw boxes I've used at my parents and in-laws place) and the PVR works great. It needs the occasional reboot but I think that's pretty standard among all of them. My wife likes the "Restart Program" feature they added recently.
