I took apart my laptop once... I got it back together but I mismatched the screws. There was a sick combination of short and long screws and holes, and holes that are just holes that screws don't go into... PITA. Infact right now, I have a screw lying around that was in my laptop but I didn't care to take out all the screws again and try.
