Serves them right for buying a place like that in Sparwood. Should have bit the bullet and bought a place in Fernie instead.

Best part of Cranbrook is the close proximity to the US. Two hours and you can hit Sandpoint and less than four hours and you can hit Coeur d'Alene which are two great summer destinations as well as Spokane, Whitefish, etc. As for the city itself I'm kind of lukewarm on it compared to some other BC cities. It's okay but kind of boring if you aren't really outdoorsy.
