Agreed, and I’m happy with the returns. If all they wanted was to improve their draft position maybe they could have taken useless camp dumps, but these guys could become good trade pieces in the future so no problem.
The only downside of trading for or signing short term reclamation and flip players is that it keeps the team in middling draft position, even if it increases the number of picks.
