Maybe you don't remember, but the majority of posters couldn't see past the 5-6 call, until he was better than that.
Same thing was true for Brodie: a #6, until he proved he wasn't a #6.
And I never said Miromanov is like Giordano. I simply said fans expect the future to look like the present. If anything though, Miromanov has more tools than Giordano - doesn't mean he'll develop as far (in fact, very unlikely, as Gio was a Norris winner), but the tools are there.
