Saros is a UFA after next season, and Askarov is their goalie of the future. He's been playing well when given a chance.
They can trade Saros for a great return, because he can now sign an extension with the team acquiring him. He's still young enough to warrant a long term deal. He's 6 years younger than Marky, and therefore a better long term answer for many teams.
As usual, Nashville can use help up front.
