Yeah, and 0 for a forfeit. It doesn't really make a difference in a big tournament like this, but it's more-so to ensure that teams don't skip games in other stages and tournaments... particularly where a team knows they're going to lose, but have a lot of travel involved. Then they use that system consistently in all competitions.
edit: worth noting that this rule cost South Korea a WC appearance this year. They likely would have qualified easily as one of the top teams in Asia (they're certainly better than Lebanon and Jordan), but a covid outbreak caused them to miss one group of qualifying games, and getting no points in those games (rather than the single points that they would have gotten if they played and lost), was likely the difference in advancing.
