Oh same here. I've never cared much for fishing lakes, and certainly not for anything other than trout. I heard there's some good river spots down here for trout in the southern part of the state. Will have to go check that out but for now I'm just missing fishing.
Years ago I went out fly fishing off a small boat for pike. It was fun, but.. pike.
Some guys do the handfishing... I guess it's better than going at midnight with shotguns and a flashlight? I'll stick to the fly rod.
