We've missed much of the school year viruses so far which is surprising. My one kid had a slight fever and some other mild symptoms about a month ago but it only lasted a couple of days. My other kid got sick on Thursday night and woke up with a fever. He was complaining that night about his legs being sore but the only symptoms he had was the fever and sore legs. By Saturday morning he was perfectly fine and we went skating later that night. His friend at school had the same thing where he got sick on Wednesday, stayed home Thursday and was fine by Friday morning.
