For me, that show is Gilmore Girls. It seems like a sappy girly show that I wouldn't enjoy, but far from it. Same writers as Mrs. Maisel, so it has similar themes of family, and overcoming personal struggles as a lone female. It's witty and funny, but has real moments of authentic drama. The character work is great and you become heavily invested in the character's fate. It's very enjoyable but is easy to digest. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it.

Interesting. For me that would be Downton Abbey, for almost the same reasons.
And it was actually another show I gave up on for some unexplained reason.
