There are good arguments for going with standard or daylight savings time. Both sides make excellent points on why we should choose them as the permanent time. I am going to provide a third choice, where we go with daylights savings time from March to November to take advantage of the increased sunlight, and stick with standard time from November to March. In this case, both sides get to win, and the timing of the sunlight is altered to be the most efficient. It sounds like a win win.
