No, it's not accurate at all. An Alberta family of 4 with $100K in family income (let's say $70K + $30K) would pay approximately $17,500 in income tax. They'd also get $4-6000 back in child benefits depending on the age of their kids. So they come in at about $12-13K a year for their entire income tax bill, which includes health coverage.
