The Irishman - De Niro and Scorsese to reunite on Netflix
I think this deserves it's own thread in that it is a pretty cool announcement:
Quote:
Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro’s long-gestating collaboration — their first feature together since 1995’s Casino — is one step closer to being released.
After several trade reports indicated Tuesday key funds for The Irishman — from Mexican financier Gaston Pavlovich of Fabrica de Cine — had fallen through, EW has confirmed the Scorsese-directed film has landed a worldwide distribution agreement with Netflix.

Best part of the article:
Quote:
“Casino had Sharon Stone, Jimmy Woods, and Don Rickles, and it was the last time that… Joe and I did a picture with Marty. But, hopefully that is gonna change, Joe,” De Niro previously said at the 2016 Guys Choice Awards. “Marty and I are planning to get back together for a movie I think will be a future ‘Guy Hall of Fame’ entry, that is if Joe has any more f—s left in him. So far all he keeps saying is ‘Go f— yourself.’”
