I'm glad they didn't just do a shot from behind or something. I was absolutely OK with the CGI Leia, in fact I think the scene was done perfectly.

You are probably right now that i think about it. We just were hit with a bunch of character deaths, so a bit of Hope was a good note to end the movie on.
