The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL’s Calgary Flames, announce that the AHL’s leading goal scorer, Derek Grant, will be out indefinitely after fracturing his jaw during Monday’s practice.
In addition to Grant’s injury, Flames prospects Oliver Kylington and Hunter Smith continue to be sidelined and are day to day with upper body injuries while Bill Arnold continues to be week to week with a lower body injury. Heat captain Aaron Johnson is also out of the lineup with an upper body injury and is listed as day to day.
