Yah, so no one is going to comment on the midseason finale? The episode currently has a 9.9/10 rating on imdb. Yah, it was a little cheesy and yes it was kind of predictable, but it was still quite well done and a nice way to end the first half of season five.
Spoiler!
Maybe it was just the wildfire smoke or it was a little dusty in our house at the end of Mike's visit with Father Walker.
Gotta think because they made such a fuss about not sitting in the confessional to discuss Mike's dilemma that it had to have some meaning. Perhaps someone else was in the church and that's who tipped off the feds?
On the other hand, Mike visited Father Walker and resigned that day? The next day? Anyone who might have been there to over hear that conversation would have had to be a federal agent because it's way too quick to go from a tip from a concerned citizen to a charge just like that.
This charade of changing the actors' hairstyle to pretend they are younger is pretty lame. None of Mike or Harvey or Harvey's brother or Father Walker looked the appropriate age because of their haircut. At least with Father Walker you could have put some grey in his hair or made him bald or something so he looked older. Nice to see Grams again, though.
Interestingly, the charge was conspiracy to commit fraud. Conspiracy charges usually requires someone else to conspire with. Wonder who else is going to get nicked (or if they turned Mike's co-conspirator already).
