I just don't see Giordano being traded unless something drastic happens.
'Drastic' could be:
-if he really struggles to regain his stellar form from last season
-if he misses a lot of games due to injury, or fails to recover from his bicep injury
-if Hamilton & Brodie play so well that they both surpass him on the depth chart
I sincerely doubt any of the above happens.
Regarding Giordano's future, sure he'll be 32 in October but he just played the best 2 seasons of his career. He's been incredibly consistent and is trending upwards. It's not unreasonable to say he could play at this standard for 3-to-5 more years. A long term contract (6-to-7 years) at an AAV of between $7m to $7.5m is probably the worst cast scenario here, realistically.
I predict Treliving will evaluate his play at the beginning of the season, just to make sure there isn't any lingering damage to his game from the bicep injury, and then around Christmas he'll sign Giordano to a 6 year deal with a $6.75m AAV.
