No, but they understand who is part of the future and who isn't.
Chicago traded a 22 year old budding 'star' for assets. It's the reality of maintaining the cap while always being in the hunt.
I'm not saying Hudler couldn't or shouldn't be part of the future, but if he's not - you have to deal him for the best return.
