The passengers debated at length how to proceed. How would they know for sure who they were dealing with? Would it be friend or foe? They weren't able to make a confident answer to those questions on that first fateful day.
Eventually, they settled on activeStick. He was sounding like someone who had something to hide...perhaps a sign of the turned? He seemed fairly confident for someone about to be swarmed.
"Never show your fear, they always say" he mused. "I never thought my time would end here of all places. Life has never gone as I hoped...not that any of you would understand." The group was a little confused by the rambling, but their resolve held through.

Help couldn't come soon enough. They made their way back to the cargo bay, locked the bay doors and hoped for a quiet night on this death trap of a ship.
