There's no way the Flames can go 7 games against the Kings in a playoff round. But, I'm just stoked that they won!

So for shots and giggles, I watched the game again and counted the shots.
The official numbers from nhl.com:
Per...Cal...LA
1.......3.....10
2.......6.....17
3......10.....6
OT.....4......1
Tot...23...34
my count:
Per...Cal...LA
1.......5.....9
2......10....13
3......11.....4
OT.....5......1
Tot...31...27
Yes, I counted the Flames actually outshooting LA! And that included 5 LA shots that I thought were wide but I counted them because I was pretty certain they did.
At one point in the 2nd, they called the shots 24-5 and I had them at 20-10.
Just before LA scored, they called them 31-17 and I had them at 25-25
Not only did they ignore several Flames' shots, but they seemed pretty trigger-happy for LA shots. The only explanation that I can guess as to how many extra LA shots they had was that they were counting shots from behind the goal-line that went out front and Ortio played (I think there were 4 of those).
