As the heroes approached Little Mac, he just shook his head and sighed.
"Why won't you listen to me? I told you, this is a waste of time."
Link walked up to him and prepared to use the Master Sword to end his life. As he began his swing though, Little Mac instantly turned into a wireframe, and the sword passed right through his body.
Pikachu sent a thunderbolt from the sky down on Little Mac, but it just burned the ground below him. Nothing seemed to work.
"Whatever...now you can at least see it for yourselves." he said.
The heroes decided to wait for twilight, and regroup for the next day. It would turn out that they wouldn't get to see that happen, though. Ness stepped forward from the group and began to glow with psychic energy. He held his arms out to the skies and yelled "PK STARSTORM!!"
It seemed like every star in the sky began to fall at once. The light was so bright that it began to seem as bright as it was during the day. Ness looked at them all, his arms still in the sky. "There will be no twilight, no night at all really. We can't allow the Darkness to take us!"
The night never came.
