I've always thought these 'Restaurant Weeks' are big scams on the consumer. They offer a more limited menu, at an increased price. My guess is they are marketed towards the blue-collar class who don't normally eat out. The only upside would be an increased level of service, in order to try to retain some customers.
A better plan:
Eat a a 'Big Taste' restaurant. Don't order from the jacked up menu. Enjoy the increased service.
