If you have a 5.1 or more surround sound system you can just unplug the center channel and it'll get rid of the commentary.

that's under the assumption that they broadcast in 5.1 or stereo. Did it once when I was living in Vancouver and got sick of hearing Garrett and Shorthouse so I unplugged the center channel and all I had left was the arena ambiance.

or, you could mute it.
