Sorry for the delay! the telus actiontec is right beside the electrical panel, so plugged the modem into it and ran the wire a good 3 feet away and closed the panel door, (which is in my basement). Upstairs (2 levels up) using a wifi channel scanner it shows my network twice (??) one a 99% signal and the other at 60%. right now i pay for 50 up, 10 down and my speeds are 17 up and 10.6 down (which is a huge improvement compared to pre-new router days). I'm just wondering if there is any other steps i need to do to get full use out of this new router, ie bridge mode, DMZ allowance...etc?
