I thought it was a good article. He takes Flames management at face value when they say the goal is to make the playoffs, and the free agent suggestions are perfectly reasonable, given the Flames management preference to pre-apex players (under 30), and for size. Bozak and Lovejoy make sense. If you think there are any under-30 UFAs over 6 ft who are a better fit, let's hear them.
And I believe the Flames will take a serious run at Smith. If the mandate really is to make the playoffs, I just can't see them handing over the reins to Ramo/Berra.
