Most long term contracts do... good for the first half, bad for the 2nd half. Wideman's contract makes sense for some teams depending on which stage the team is.... unfortunately, I think Feaster misread this team to be on playoff tweaner and this would put them solidly in the playoffs, and I don't think the Flames are that good yet.
