The good thing about insignia ( at least in the states) is if you buy it at Best Buy, they give you a 2 yr warranty instead of a 1 year one that comes with most TVs. I bought a 50" Insignia Plasma TV a few years back for something like 698 bucks. It worked for 6 months and started having problems with the plasma board ( or whatever they called it). They said it would take a few weeks to get a replacement in. I told them I wasnt willing to wait a few a weeks so they said I could return the TV for a replacement. BestBuy didnt have any of these models so they gave me the closest Samsung replacement . The samsung was selling for 1200 at the time. I havent had a problem with this one in 2 yrs+.
