The rest is imagination at this point. Guy should be in jail at this point I agree, but no evidence in these reports to suggest this. Could have happened. Maybe the youth was breaking into a car?

It comes down to the "Suspicious of him part", and what the kid was doing.
If the shooter was attacked then it doesn't matter about the color of the kid.
If he was legitimately defending himself then he shouldn't be in jail at all.
I doubt that the neighbourhood Watch advocates fuys running around with a pistol, I think its stupid for a civillian with little training and little in the way of testing being armed and put in a situation by himself.
This sounds more like a tragic incident then race violence to me.
