Well hot damn. I had resigned myself to the reality that I'd be watching Norwich take on (and hopefully survive) Manchester United from the confines of a local pub. Then my hopes were tickled a little when my cousin told me that someone was selling their ticket at the hospital where she works and that she would try and get it for me. Unfortunately it was already sold. (sad trombone)
Then, this evening, another cousin called me up and said that his wife would like me to have her ticket (she's a season ticket holder) because she knows how much I like football and I always attend every possible game that I can while I'm over here. And she won't even let me pay for it. Obviously I'll insist on dinner or at least a few drinks if she won't take money for it.
Things have a funny way of working out. Now hopefully Norwich will keep it close and maybe squeak out a home draw. Optimistic, obviously, but anything can happen.
Then a road trip to Stoke followed by a home game vs. Wigan.
Insert "cool story bro" here, but I don't care.
