With NHL 10 coming the corner, it's time to get ready for the new EASHL season. This year there are a professional and casual league so it's gonna be done differently then it was from NHL 09. We will have two teams for one in each league so those that are skilled and competitive can challenge for the monthly trophies in the professional league (NHL) and those that are looking for casual fun and/or work there skills up to the professional league if they wish would be in the casual league. (AHL) New comers will have to go to casual league first before attempting to join the pro league. Being in the AHL does not mean you are forced to play in only that league for the entire season if you show skill set to play in the Pro league.

The requirements that are necessary to be eligible for the pro club is a veteran player card with B+ overall grade, +/- even or greater (5 under is sufficient as well), and 65 games played with veteran card. You must have a mic for teammates communication. Although you may have those requirements, GMs still have final say on whether you will be promoted to the pro team. Tryout games may be made to examine your play.

If you do make the pro team, there can never be less then 3 players in a game. As well if you make the club we encourage that you play at least 5 games within a week unless notice of absence. This is to avoid players from popping in from time to time without weeks of play since that's a casual style of doing games and most likely leave you out of sync with your teammates.

If you do not make the pro team initially, it does not mean your placed there permanently. The purpose of the casual club is to build your game to the level that will allow to challenge EASHL players in the pro league without being out of place and hurting your teammates. If you show good enough improvement in your game, you will be promoted up or could request/given a tryout game.

You can request yourself to join the club by using the links provided above and be login to your EA Account. In this thread, post which league and position you would be primarily interested in participating in as well if you would be goaltender eligible. Write as often, sometimes, or never so we know who will be our primary goaltenders or those that will play once in a while or not at all.
