Not only is he 2nd in ERA on the Giants in 6 starts, but I've watched some of his games and he has played amazing, especially outdueling Kerry Wood for a win last week.
He just varies his pitches well, changes speeds well every pitch (not the most overpowering FB).
Not to mention in Triple A he had a Batting average of .323 - which made my jaw drop. Hes already got 4 hits at the Major league level.
But with the amount of "talent" in the giants line up it wouldn't surprise me if he actually moves up in the batting order when he starts maybe in a couple years.
